JOSIAH MIDDAUGH
"You are what you consistently do. Champions are not born.
With the right attitude and proper direction, you can begin to realize your true potential.
No matter what
your starting point is, there is always room to grow. Self-discovery is about
exceeding your
self-imposed limits. There is an athlete inside us all."
Intense physical experience has brought Josiah to a career in personal training and
coaching. He knows what it takes to complete ANY goal. Josiah was a Division I Cross Country, Indoor & Outdoor
Track Athlete at Central Michigan University. His distance running background was the perfect fit for multi-sport racing,
but the swimming took years to develop. Josiah's accomplishments are inspiring to all who know what extreme time,
dedication and determination it requires to hold the following titles:
- Xterra USA Point Series Pro National Champion 2004, 2005
(1.5 K Swim, 30 K Mountain Bike, 10K Trail Run)
- USAT Long Course Pro National Champion 2005
(1.2 Mile Swim, 56 Mile Bike, 13 Mile Run)
- North American Snow Shoe Champion 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006
(10K Snow Shoe)
- USAT Winter Triathlon National Champion 2006
(4 Mile Run, 12 Mile Mountain Bike, 6 Mile Ski)
Josiah and his wife Ingrid moved to Colorado in 2000. When Josiah is not training,
he takes great pleasure in being with his two sons, Sullivan and Porter, riding plastic bikes,
and baking cookies.
