Most of Charry's life has been spent training for one sport or another. Her teens through early 30's
were spent trying to be the best possible soccer player on the planet.
Because of the physical and psychological pressures of a professional athletic career (1992-2001) she found solace in yoga.
It lengthened her life on the field and it gave her the stepping stone off the field toward life's next passionate endeavor - yoga.
Charry started regularly practicing in 1996 and started teaching in 1999.
Charry's first teacher was Argie Ligeros Tang, and along the long and winding yoga road Charry has had many teachers. She is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor at the 200 hour level.
"My love of yoga started with the body- how it made mine feel longer, lighter, stronger, more tuned up... and has developed into my sanctuary from the craziness of life as a new mom."
Charry's classes vary in tempo and theme and interweave the traditions of Iyengar and Vinyasa.
